Moonpie is a well balanced buck with exceptional body capacity both in length, depth and spring of rib. Additionally he has very strong, uphill withers and stands on very strong feet and pasterns. There is a lot we admire about this buck, beyond his flashy paintjob. 

 

His Dam, Peppermint Pattie is a favourite in our herd with a very wide escutcheon and high rear udder attachments.  Pattie has a very smoothly blended fore udder and excellent teat placement. She has done well in the show ring, and has two legs of her championship. We were happy to see Moonpie's full sister, Compli-Mint, freshen with a very high rear udder and excellent teat placement.  Moonpie is a very sweet buck and his first kids have been our friendliest.
